Kian Smith Trade & Co is a mining and minerals trading firm. The company is involved in the mine-to-market gold value chain in Nigeria with a focus on artisanal mining organization and mineral value chain development. It has pioneered initiatives including the Kian Smith Gold Sourcing Program (KSmith-GSP) and is developing the first gold refinery in Nigeria. Kian Smith has also created Sanu, a digital platform for gold and silver access online. The company is actively dedicated to developing the West African gold value chain.

Taiwo’s professional experience includes Investment Banking, Project Financing, Capital Markets, Investment Management, Risk Management and Portfolio Management.

Kiki Uduma is a business woman, public speaker and female youth empowerment advocate. She is the Founder and CEO of Kiki Lucas Jewelry, a luxury jewelry brand based in Nigeria and the United States. She is passionate about building a brand that can represent Nigeria on the world stage of high and fine jewelry. Aside from running her jewelry company, Kiki Uduma is also a CIPD accredited human resource management professional with 15 years work experience specializing in Strategic Human Resources in the Oil & Gas, Finance and Technology industry. Kiki’s experience across these sectors led to a personal passion for seeing an increase in investing in African based projects and as such joined NPL Advisors, an international financial advisory firm as an Associate Director which has a mandate for driving investments towards the Continent.

Mr Abiola Ajayi

Mr Abiola Ajayi is a well rounded Geologist with over 35 years of broad based geosciences and management experience. He has held various management positions mostly in the Oil and Gas Exploration & Production industry over the last 10 years. He worked both in the producing and service / consulting sectors of the upstream Oil and Gas industry and has acquired diverse international experience from Shell in the Netherlands, Schlumberger in Norway and PSI in Venezuela.
Biola is currently the Managing Director of Energy and Mineral Resources Limited (EMR) a leading consulting firm which runs a 5mta aggregate production plant in Oyo state and is positioned to be a major player in high value metals production to which active exploration is currently ongoing. He is well versed in geosciences disciplines such as hydrogeology / water resources management and solid mineral exploration / development. He has been involved in the exploration for solid minerals and gemstones within the granite complex in Plateau and Bauchi states

Laura Ani

Laura Ani Is an academic and a lawyer with 17 years post call experience with specialist and interest areas in Corporate Governance, International Humanitarian Law, Competition law, Project Financing and Energy and Natural Resources Law. She is a member of several associations. She is a member of the Mining Law and Policy Committee of the Section of Business under the auspices of the Nigerian Bar Association, where she serves as the 2nd Vice Chair of the Committee; she is a member of the International Bar Association; a member of the Women in Mining Association Nigeria (WIMIN) where she leads the AFCFTA and gender inclusivity sub-group;
She is also a member of the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT); a member of the National Association of International Humanitarian Law Teachers; she also leads the Knowledge and Side- stream section of the Mining Thematic Group under the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) focusing on optimizing linkage opportunities for the Nigerian Mining sector; She is also a Chartered Secretary and member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Nigeria (ICSAN), and a member, of the AfCFTA Collaborations Committee in partnership with the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and University of Cape Town, South Africa;
