Competition Details Theme: Echoes of Heritage

Category 1: For Bead Artists.

  • Participants would be provided with some pre-cut bead.
  • Entries in this category MUST include at least 50% Nigerian-made components to promote local materials.

Category 2: For artisans capable of working with metal.

Participants would be provided with pre-cut, beveled cabochons, entries in this category must include at least 50% Nigeria components to promote local materials

How to enter for the competition

Stage 1: Expression of Interest

Interested artisans should submit photos of their previous work and/or images or short videos of themselves actively creating their piece/s They should also include a link to their social media handles or website. This will allow our panel to shortlist artisans based on originality, skill, and presentation.

Stage 2: Creation and Submission

Creation and Submission Phase Short listed participants will receive materials and begin work on their pieces. Participant to send in a weekly progress report in video format. This is mandatory to ensure transparency and authenticity. Videos should clearly show the participant working, with close-ups of techniques and tools
