The official opening of GGCE 2026 brings together industry leaders, policymakers, artisans and investors for the launch of Africa’s most focused gold and gemstone platform. This session sets the tone and direction for five transformative days in Lagos.

The keynote address will cover sustainable development of Nigeria’s mineral wealth, the role of women in driving the sector forward, and the strategic vision for African gemstone trade under the AfCFTA framework.

Attendance is free and open to all registered conference delegates. Seats are allocated on a first-registered basis.
