Lagos Gold and Gem Exhibition
Conference

The Lagos Gold and Gem Exhibition Conference, a proud subsidiary of Women in Mining (WIMIN), is an annual event dedicated to celebrating and promoting the rich heritage of gold and gemstone mining in Nigeria. Our mission is to empower women in the mining sector, showcasing their achievements, fostering connections, and driving innovation in the industry.

At the heart of the conference is a commitment to supporting and elevating the role of women in mining as envisioned in the African Mining Vision ,a high policy document implemented by African Minerals Development Center in partnership with Association of Women in Africa (AWIMA). We bring together industry leaders, artisans, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts from around the world to exchange knowledge, explore new opportunities, and celebrate the contributions of women to the mining and jewelry-making industries.

The conference features a diverse range of activities, including:

  • Exhibitions: Showcasing stunning gold and gemstone jewelry, cutting-edge mining technologies, and sustainable practices
  • Workshops: Providing hands-on training in jewelry making, gemstone identification, and business development.
  • Networking Events: Offering opportunities to connect with industry experts, potential partners, and like-minded professionals.
  • Panel Discussions: Addressing key topics such as gender equality, sustainability, and innovation in mining.
